AnySIP — Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 January 2026

These terms govern your use of AnySIP, an Android SIP softphone developed and published by AviDev, an independent developer based in Israel ("we", "us"). By installing or using AnySIP you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use AnySIP on Android devices that you own or control, for lawful purposes only.

2. Your SIP provider

AnySIP is a client that connects to a SIP server you choose and configure. We do not operate a SIP service. Call quality, availability, billing, supported codecs, and number assignments are governed by the agreement between you and your SIP provider. Any costs your provider charges (per-minute fees, international calls, toll numbers, etc.) are your responsibility.

3. Permitted use

You agree not to use AnySIP to:

• Make calls that violate applicable law in your jurisdiction or the recipient's jurisdiction.
• Send unsolicited bulk calls, harass, threaten, or defraud.
• Place calls to emergency services as your only means of reaching them — see Section 4.
• Record calls in violation of consent laws that apply where you or the other party are located.
• Reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code beyond what applicable law permits.
• Distribute, sublicense, or resell the app.

4. Emergency calls

AnySIP is not a substitute for a telephone service. Calls placed through it depend on a working internet connection, on the SIP provider you configured, and on the codec/number routing that provider supports. AnySIP cannot guarantee that emergency numbers (such as 100, 101, 911, etc.) will reach the right dispatcher. Do not rely on it as your sole means of contacting emergency services.

5. Updates

We may release updates that change features, fix bugs, or adapt to new Android requirements. We may discontinue features when they no longer make sense to maintain. Updates are delivered through Google Play according to your device's update settings.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

AnySIP is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every possible attack, or compatible with every device or SIP provider.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AviDev is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed calls, or service interruptions, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) AnySIP. Our total liability, if any, will not exceed the amount you paid for AnySIP — which, if you obtained it for free, is zero.

8. Third-party components

AnySIP incorporates open-source components, including the Linphone SDK (GPLv3) and other libraries. Their licenses are listed inside the app under About → Open-source licenses, and use of those components is additionally subject to their own licenses.

9. Termination

You may stop using AnySIP at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your right to use AnySIP if you violate these terms. The sections of these terms that are intended to survive termination (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in Israel.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of AnySIP after a change means you accept the updated terms.
